About Harbor
The background of its founder and the principles that guide the studio’s work.
Haron Seehagen Founder, Harbor Creative Studio
The designer behind the studio.
01Background
Raised in the south of Brazil, he was drawing and painting long before design became a profession, and graduated in Graphic Design from the Federal University of Technology – Paraná in 2014. Painting stayed beside the design work ever since. He studied the academic methods on his own and through every class he could find, and as a member of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, he also learned to paint icons in its tradition. Most of his illustration today is painted digitally, on a foundation built by hand.
02Path
His path went through very different rooms. At an animation studio he painted backgrounds and learned the basics of motion. For five years he worked at a company that created and sold franchises, where he helped shape the business models, ran the campaigns that sold them, and trained the hundreds of franchisees who came from across Brazil to open their own units. Between catalogues, packaging, pricing, suppliers and a design team to lead, he learned how a brand works on the ground, in the hands of the people who run it.
Years of independent work followed. Harbor Creative Studio was registered in the US in 2025 and spent its first year building showcase projects and a working system made to grow into a full studio, before opening in 2026.
03Way of working
The way he works comes from those years. He listens closely, wants to understand how a client's business actually runs, and looks for the real problem behind the request. When a project needs something outside his field, he learns it and fills the gap. Curious by nature and business-minded by experience, he treats every project as something to bring to life, beyond a simple delivery.
04Today
Today he lives and works in Ukraine with his family, learning the language along the way. Through the war, the studio keeps its schedule, its standards and its commitments, with the same discipline and attention to every detail.

Harbor Creative Studio The studio
A design studio building identities, packaging and illustration.
A harbor shelters ships, prepares them and sends them out to sea. The studio works the same way with brands: each one is studied, built and fitted out for the market it is about to enter. The symbol carries the idea in a blackletter H that holds a lighthouse, a ship and the waves beneath it, while the wordmark borrows the lines of the old Portuguese caravels.
A product earns trust before anyone tastes, smells or lights it. Labels, bands and boxes are the first thing a customer holds, and they deserve the same care as what is inside. Good design also has to work in the real world, at the client's budget, scale and the way the product is actually made.
Every project is drawn from scratch around its client, so no two share a style. Work is taken on a few projects at a time, and each one is followed closely from the first sketch to the printed piece. Once the project is paid, every file belongs to the client, source files included, ready for any printer or partner in the years ahead.
Before any sketch, the studio learns how the client's business runs: who buys, where the product sits and how it is produced. When the brief and the real need point in different directions, the studio proposes the better path and explains why. Every decision is made with printing in mind, and the work stays with the client through production, from supplier contacts to final proofs.

The best projects start with a good conversation. Bring questions, loose ideas or half-made plans, and the project takes shape together from there. After the call, the brief and every document that follows are prepared on the studio’s side.
